The results of the DV Lottery will be available as of this month’s seventh.
To assist everyone who will be chosen for the lottery, I’d like to share a few things.
Once you’ve made your choice, please take your time and collect as much data as you can.
Ask people who are knowledgeable about it for assistance. Join groups, watch YouTube videos, and search for those who have won before you. These laws are subject to periodic revision. Don’t rush to fill out DS260 and risk making mistakes.
Fill out your DS260 after spending the first several days or weeks learning about the procedure. Ideally, before May expires, A case number will be assigned to each person who is chosen.
That will begin in 2023 AF. Make sure to complete your DS260 by the end of May if your case number is low, and gather all necessary documentation as soon as you can. Case counts range from 1 to over 60,000. When you win, that’s when the real waiting starts.Beginning on October 1st, interviews will go on through September 30th of the following year.Once your DS260 has been submitted, you must wait for your second letter of notification from the Kentucky consular center, which will let you know when your interview will take place at the Embassy.You must get a medical exam before the interview.The entire process involves the following costs:
1. medical ksh. 50000
2. Interview Ksh 45000
3. Flight Ksh 100,000
4. The Ksh 30,000 green card charge
It costs roughly ksh 250000 per person, which translates to a million shillings if you have a wife or spouse and, say, two children.You’ll need money to purchase your passport(s) as well as any other necessary documents you may be lacking, such as your birth certificate, marriage certificate, certificate of good behavior, and possibly more. If you succeed, the pricey process will have been worth it. Once you get to the US, be respectful of your hosts.
