Unlike other civil servants the teachers are classified as Teachers Service Commission employees who earn peanuts compared to what the Diplomas in the Health sector earn.

It’s so shocking that the Health employees enjoy various allowances such as risk allowance  and Uniform allowance unlike the teachers who draw Commuter and House allowance only.

The Salaries and Renumeration Commission should therefore take up the issues  so that they can harmonize all salaries for various cadres in the civil service.
