Registrar of Political Parties Anne Nderitu tells kenyan parties that Primaries losers in the Forthcoming nominations won’t have window to vie as independent candidates or switch to another party.
Those defeated in party primaries will not have a window to vie as independent candidates.
The candidates must declare in advance if they want to run under a party or as an independent.
There will be a window where if you are a party candidate you cannot cross over to run as an independent.
Once one is defeated during primaries, there is no window for you to jump to another party.
The 2022 politics will be hotly contested from the Members of County Assembly, Member of Parliament, Senate, Women Representatives, Governorship and presidency.
IEBC has vowed to conduct a free and fair elections.
