List of Documents that a Success Teacher recruit should Have.
Teacher Service Commission is mandated for the recruitment of teachers in Kenya among other roles.
After a teacher has been called for a competitive interview, he or she is given an employment form by the Secretary of the Board who is also the Principal of that school the teacher did an interview.
For proper vetting and processing of your appointment letter ,the successful applicant should submit the following documents;
1.Dully filled and signed application form .
2.The application letter from the applicant.
3.Dully signed commitment letter to serve in the employed school for a minimum period of 5 years .
4. Original and photocopies of the following;
a)National identity card.
b)NCPWD for applicants with disability.
C)2 passport size photos.
d)Certificates and testimonials from, University or college of study, Official academic transcripts ,KCSE certificate ,KCPE certificate and any other certificate showing participation of co-curricula activities.
e) Certificate of registration as a teacher .
5.KRA pin Certificate
6.Bank plate(the bank that you fill will be appropriate pay point)
7.Duly filled pay point particulars’ form the bank .
8.NHIF card.
9.Primary and Secondary school leaving certificates..
10. Letter of appointment as an intern teacher (where applicable.
11. Evidence of separation from the commission for those previously employed by TSC.
12.Dully filled GP 69 medical form .
The agent of the commission should verify and certify the above documents before issuance of the employment form to the successful applicant.
The secretary of the employment panel who serves as the Principal should submit the above documents alongside;
1. Duly filled and signed application for employment form.
2. Minutes of the selection panel duly signed.
3.Completed selection score guide duly signed.
The above documents should be verified to avoid any omission failure to submit all the required documents it will result to delay of you employment letter.
