The Diwali is not a public Holiday.
The Ministry of Interior has clarified on the Diwali public holiday, in a rejoinder send to newsrooms ,the Ministry has disowned the gazette notice going round to declare Monday 24th October a public holiday.
“Our attention has been drawn to a gazette notice issued by the Ministry of Interior declaring Monday 24th October a public holiday ”
The Members of the public are advised that it’s a fake notice that should be ignored in totality.
Diwali is festive season that’s is celebrated by the Hindu religious .
The festivities is held in the months of October and November and is celebrated in Countries where the Indians and Hindus have a good number . The countries that celebrate Diwali include India,Nepal,Sri Lanka ,Myanmar ,Fiji ,Mauritius and Indonesia among other countries .
As earlier indicated via the standard Newspaper Monday is not a public holiday and it will be a normal working day.
