CS Machogu meets Education stakeholders among them Kuppet,See the Details they discussed.
Yesterday CS for Education Ezekiel Machogu held a meeting with the Kuppet Leadership to discuss issues affecting teachers and what the government can do for the teachers in the near future.
The Kuppet Leadership presented their grievances among them review of the non monetary CBA which they had already negotiated with TSC . During the campaigns the Kenya Kwanza Government had promised improving the salaries of teachers.
In the meeting the CS for Education promised to ensure disbursement of capitation fund is made efficient and reflect the current price levels in the economy.
They also discussed about the Tertiary Institutions teachers who are about 3,780 who were moved to Public Service Commission from TSC. The kuppet Leadership requested that they be taken back since they were left out of the fourth phase of CBA increments and most of them have stagnated in the previous positions.
The CS for Education Ezekiel Machogu promised to bring together the stakeholders inorder to enhance harmonius relationship going forward.
